Executive Assistant to the Founder &
Executive Director
Romans12two | Hutto / Williamson County, Texas
Employment: Full-Time, Salaried
Starting Salary: $30,000 annually
Location: Hutto / Williamson County, TX — primarily local
Reports to: Founder & Executive Director, Rev. Christopher Leschber, MACE
About the Role
Romans12two is seeking a highly capable, relational, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to work directly alongside our Founder & Executive Director.
We are looking for an integrator and executor—someone who can take vision, conversations, commitments, relationships, and ministry activity and turn them into organized action and completed work.
Our Founder carries primary responsibility for vision, teaching, discipleship, church relationships, major-donor relationships, and organizational leadership.
The Executive Assistant helps protect that focus by bringing structure, communication, organization, and tenacious follow-through to everything happening around it.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll likely thrive in this role if you are:
• An integrator who enjoys helping someone else’s vision become reality
• A proactive self-starter who can move work forward without continual direction
• Tenacious about follow-through and closing loops
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing clarity to rapidly developing ideas
• Able to listen to a visionary leader, identify actionable pieces, and turn them into next steps
• Comfortable respectfully asking: Who owns this? What’s next? When does it need to be done?
• Able to create simple systems when needed without unnecessarily reinventing systems that already work
• Relational, trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential ministry and donorinformation
• Personally aligned with the Christian mission and values of Romans12two
Being bilingual is a plus, but not required.
What You’ll Do
• Own calendar management, scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-through
• Capture tasks, commitments, and next steps and help ensure they get completed
• Surface priorities and keep important work from falling through the cracks
• Draft and coordinate routine emails, correspondence, and follow-up
• Communicate with ministry leaders, church partners, participants, donors, volunteers, and other key relationships
• Support donor stewardship through acknowledgments, follow-up, meeting preparation, and development administration
• Contact program leaders and collect information needed for ministry reporting
• Maintain accurate ministry and participant data
• Organize and maintain Neon One CRM and Google Drive
• Collect and track testimonies and transformation stories
• Help respond to routine participant communication within established boundaries
• Prepare a concise weekly executive report covering completed work, open loops, upcoming priorities, and decisions needed
• Anticipate recurring needs rather than waiting to be asked every time
What Success Looks Like
Success means the Founder experiences a meaningful reduction in administrative load.
Commitments and follow-ups are captured and completed. People receive timely
communication. Meetings are anticipated and prepared for. Ministry and donor information is organized and trustworthy. Open loops remain visible.
Over time, the Executive Assistant increasingly knows what needs to happen before being told.
Most importantly, this position allows the Founder to spend more time discipling, teaching, developing church relationships, cultivating major donors, and carrying the vision—and less time administering the organization.
Compensation & Opportunity for Growth
This is a full-time, salaried position beginning at $30,000 annually. Romans12two is a growing nonprofit ministry, and we want this position to grow with the organization. As ministry revenue, organizational capacity, responsibilities, and individual performance grow, we anticipate reviewing compensation and providing opportunities for salary increases.
Our goal is to find the right person who wants to grow with the role and with Romans12two.

How to Apply
If this sounds like a role where your gifts and calling could serve well, we’d love to hear from you.
Please submit your résumé, a brief introduction explaining why the mission of Romans12two and this Executive Assistant position resonate with you, and brief responses to these two questions:
1. Tell us about a time you took someone else’s idea, vision, or loosely defined
assignment and turned it into completed work. What did you do?
2. When you’re supporting a leader with a lot of ideas, relationships, and competing priorities, how do you make sure important commitments don’t fall through the cracks?
Keep your responses conversational. We’re more interested in understanding how you think and work than receiving a polished essay.
