Hutto Community Foundation on Track for Success with Union Pacific Grant

Hutto, TX September 25, 2026 – Hutto Community Foundation is the proud recipient of a Union Pacific Railroad Community Ties Giving Program grant, which will our NextGen Workforce Development Initiative.

Union Pacific funding will directly support the delivery of the Hutto Community Foundation’s nextGen Workforce Initiative, with resources intentionally allocated to remove barriers to student participation and provide meaningful, real-world workforce experiences. Funding will support program supplies and workforce-readiness materials; transportation to industry, education, and community-based learning experiences; meals and hospitality for participating students; professional speakers, facilitators, and workforce experts; and program experiences that connect students directly with employers and career pathways. These investments allow the Foundation to create a more equitable pathway for students to gain career exposure, develop leadership and professional skills, and build relationships with regional employers.
