Hutto Community Foundation Invests in Next Generation of Entrepreneurs with Young Entrepreneur Grants

First National Bank Bastrop expands impact by matching three grants for local young entrepreneurs

HUTTO, Texas — The Hutto Community Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its Young Entrepreneur Grants, recognizing young people demonstrating innovation, initiative, and leadership by developing their own businesses.

The grant program is designed to do more than provide financial support. It gives young entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop an idea, articulate a business plan, present their vision, and gain experience that will help prepare them for future leadership and career opportunities.

This year, the program's impact is expanding with support from First National Bank Bastrop, which is matching three of the grants awarded to young entrepreneurs.

“Investing in young entrepreneurs is an investment in the future of our community,” said Billie Logiudice, Executive Director of the Hutto Community Foundation. “These students aren't simply coming to us with ideas. They are identifying opportunities, thinking creatively, solving problems, and demonstrating the courage to put their ideas into action. We want them to know that their community sees that potential and believes it is worth investing in.”

2026 Young Entrepreneur Grant Recipients

Andrew Moore — Andrew Moore Photography — $500
Photography and social media campaigns.

Jett Furgatch — Jett's Services — $750
Lawn services provided.

Mona Cenquizca — Shockwave Art — $250
Handmade jewelry, keychains, and more. Catch them at local farmer's markets and vendor fairs.

The partnership with First National Bank Bastrop also demonstrates the important role the business community can play in developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. By matching grant funding, the bank is helping turn promising ideas into opportunities for young people to learn firsthand about business ownership, financial responsibility, customer service, problem-solving, and leadership.

The Hutto Community Foundation looks forward to following the recipients' progress and celebrating what they build with this investment.
